It has been confirmed by the National Weather Service that a tornado did indeed touch down in the Grove City, Clark County, Greene County area, Tuesday evening.

 

 

The strong winds knocked down utility poles a live wires and caused damage to building across the Ohio region. Several schools are closed and there are many without power. AEP says that Grove City could be without power from 24-36 hours.  450 homes and 20 power poles were damaged as a result of the powerful gusts.
