Nick Gordon has officially been let off the hook in the his most recent domestic violence case. The alleged victim, his girlfriend, Laura Leal has recanted the statement that she originally gave to the police. Florida Prosecutors say since there are no witnesses they have no choice but to drop the charges.
Nick was arrested on domestic violence charges when his girlfriend said he struck her several times in the face. Nick says it was her that threw a bottle at him, ripped his shirt, and was acting erratically. Nick was the one to call 911. Laura also wrote a letter to the Judge asking that Gordon not be charged because it was her fault due to her bipolar disease. Nick still has to answer to the Judge for violating his court order and seeing his girlfriend when the judge ordered him to stay away.
