Paid to get a car to help run those everyday errands.
Columbus is finally getting a car service that helps you hit the town if you don’t want to call on a ridesharing service.
“The City of Columbus is committed to exploring mobility options to move residents and visitors,” said Mayor Andrew J. Ginther. “Zipcar gives people the flexibility of using a car when they want. We are pleased to have the world’s leading car-sharing network serve as part of our future.”
Zipcar allows users to reserve a vehicle by the hour or day. The fleet of 8 cars are available in on-street parking spots downtown, the Short North, German Village, and Weinland Park.
