If fishing is your thing then get your rods and bait ready because Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) of Wildlife is bringing back its free fishing event.
According to MyFox28columbus.com, the weekend of May 4-5 will be Ohio’s free fishing weekend. The weekend does not require anyone 16-years-old or older to obtain a fishing license.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, said, “Ohio has world-class fishing, and our free fishing weekend is a great opportunity to experience what the state has to offer. I invite Ohioans to take some time to get outside with family and friends to enjoy our wonderful natural resources.”
Ohio State Parks is also offering a camping discount during Ohio’s Fishing Free Days. Campers can receive a 20 percent discount between May 3rd and 4th by using the promotion code 19ANGLER on new reservations only.
