Did you get your vote on? The polls for the May primary opened at 6:30am today (May7th) and remain open until 7:30pm. Columbus voters will decide on five major issues. If the issues are passed, the city takes on $1 billion in debt for future infrastructure projects.

According to MyFox28Columbus.com, part of the money would replace the Franklin County Municipal Court Building as well as help resurface streets and improve alleyways. Money would also be allocated to go towards affordable-housing efforts. Several school districts are asking voters to approve bonds including Licking Heights, Lancaster, Groveport Madison, and Delaware City Schools. Voters in Gahanna will decide on a proposed income-tax-rate increase.
