In 2011 The Temptations will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary and just when you thought you’ve heard them at their best, Voice Distributions proudly presents to you The Temptations 49th album “Still Here.” Still Here is infused with Old-School five-part harmony and contemporary touches, creating new Temptations classics. Executive produced by original Temptation Otis Williams, who also produced several tracks on the album, Still Here features “Listen Up,” a new millennium version of “Ball Of Confusion”; “Soul Music,” which pays homage to the sounds from back in the day; and “Shawtyismygirlooyeah,” a modern update of “My Girl,” the Temptations’ first #1 hit in 1965. The Temptations will tour nationwide in 2010 to promote Still Here. Still Here also includes “Change Has Come,” an energetic tribute to the election of President Barack Obama with a rousing performance by lead singer “Big” Bruce Williamson. Among the several slow jams are the beautiful ballad “Hold Me,” featuring Terry Weeks (member since 1997), and “Woman,” featuring tenor Ron Tyson (member since 1983), who also simmers on the mid-tempo “Warm Summer Nights” and shines on the nostalgic “Going Back Home.” We invite you to explore and enjoy their new CD “Still Here” by The Temptations.
