Yesterday the city helped Columbus residents stay cool by turning on some fire hydrants. The hydrants were located at various recreation centers around town includingLinden Park,

Bate-ty Recreation Center, Lincoln Park Elementary School, and

Westgate Park.

But some Columbus residents took that idea for their own and opened up some of the fire hydrants in their own neighborhoods. We were lucky enough to get some picks and bring some refreshments.
