Sling Shot Media Group LLC inks deal with
Vevaci Entertainment/Universal Music Group Distribution

—-Sling Shot Media Group LLC (SSMG) has entered into an agreement with Vevaci Entertainment and Universal Music Group Distribution for an exclusive world-wide distribution venture. The deal spearheaded by Sling Shot Media Group A&R Delayne Whiteside and CEO Yaves Ellis is said to be one of the best situations that any Independent label has seen over the past 5 years.
Established in 2007 by Yaves the Street Pastor, Sling Shot Media Group LLC is quickly becoming a household name in the Christian Rap genre, however it was their presence outside the genre that caught Vevaci Entertainments CEO Armar’rae Hill’s attention.

From Yaves the Street Pastors 50,000 hits on a YouTube freestyle, or artist KamBINO’s street success with the album Reach, its undeniable the partnership between SSMG, Vevaci Ent., and Universal Music Group Distribution will prove to be one that could change the scope of the genre.
Artists on the Sling Shot Media Group LLC roster include Yaves the Street Pastor, KamBINO, J. Flue, Trev-Eaz, Priest, Lord Have Mercy, Young Church, DJ Juan, and DJ Layne Luv.

One can expect to see SSMG’s first project in stores February 2011 distributed exclusively by UMGD.
