NEW YORK, Apr 06, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Grammy Award-winning musician and globally conscious entrepreneur Alicia Keys has partnered with Monster.com, the leading job matching engine, for the launch of the IAAS.com Super Search powered by Monster.com – a national hunt for the Head Blogger of her forthcoming website IAAS.com (aka I Am A Super Woman). The process to apply for this exciting and prominent position at Alicia’s company kicks off today and continues through May 3. Candidates can log onto Monster.com to apply and find more information on IAAS.com.

“With IAAS.com, I’ll be displaying my ‘voice’ in a different way and need just the right person to help me express a point of view that I don’t think exists yet in the blog world,” comments Alicia Keys. “Combing the country is a big undertaking and I’m incredibly grateful to have Monster.com as a partner in this extensive and exciting process!”

“We help match great people with great jobs every day and Alicia has given us the opportunity to help a talented blogger get the coolest job in social media,” said Ted Gilvar, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Monster.com. “Most employers are swamped with resumes so imagine Alicia’s challenge with this job. Fortunately our precision search technology will help match the best candidates from the thousands that will apply.”

IAAS.com will launch officially in July, 2010 with the goal of creating a fun, inspiring online neighborhood for super women to check in with what other super women are thinking, doing, feeling, working on, eating, buying, wearing and laughing about, and to prompt discussions on things the modern super woman cares about. The site, which is in its early stages of development, will launch in July once the Head Blogger position is filled. Over the course of the next year, it will grow into a full, editorial site with a unique point of view. IAAS.com is the first major undertaking for AK Worldwide, Inc. the company Alicia opened as the home and incubator for a number of ventures developing outside her career in music.

Here’s how the IAAS.com Super Search powered by Monster.com works. From April 6th to May 3rd, Monster.com will use its proprietary 6Sense(TM) Semantic Search technology to efficiently comb through the thousands of resumes that are expected to be received for this job. A select group of applicants will then be asked to submit videos and writing samples to a prestigious Advisory Panel including Alicia Keys, her core team of executives and Ted Gilvar, global chief marketing officer for Monster.com. By May, the top 10 candidates will be selected and flown to New York by American Airlines to meet the Advisory Panel in person. The top three candidates will then be sent to London (also by American Airlines) to meet Alicia and tasked with their final assignment: to blog about The Black Ball UK on May 27th, Alicia’s black tie charity event benefiting Keep a Child Alive. The new Head Blogger will be announced on June 25th in New York City
