It’s never easy to see a piece of history taken away from the neighborhood, but as they say, “all good things come to an end.” According to Fox 28, The Olympic Swim Club, located in the 3400 block of Indianola Avenue in Columbus, closed after first opening about 80 years ago. A rezoning application has been filed with the City of Columbus, calling for turning the site into a mixed-use development centered on a 152-unit apartment building.
