According to Fox 28, The nurse who demanded to be removed from quarantine in New Jersey says she won’t obey isolation orders at her home in Maine. Kaci Hickox has no symptons of the virus, but health officals want her to stay home for the remainder of a 21-day quarantine.
Her lawyer says she won’t comply because she poses no risk. “I remain very concerned about these mandatory quarantine orders for aid workers. I think we’re only adding to stigmatization that’s not based on science or evidence.”
Hickox says if the isolation order isn’t lifted by tomorrow morning, she’ll take the state to court to obtain freedom. What are your thoughts? Take our poll below.
