Somebody had a very Happy Thanksgiving! According to Fox 28, someone made a very expensive mistake when they stopped for a quick bite to eat. A bag filled with $100,000 in cash was left behind.
The assistant manager at a Burger King in San Jose, California found a backpack left behind at a table inside the restaurant. When no one came back asking about it, she called the restaurant owner.
When he opened the backpack to see what information they could find, they found all the cash.
The owner immediately called police when he saw the stacks of cash. Police say there was also a bank slip and marijuana inside the bag. They’re now working with the bank to find out who the money belongs to.
