Browns

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –  It was the moment most Browns fans have been waiting for, 2014 first-round pick Johnny Manziel will make his first career NFL start. Unfortunately it did not go as planned for Manziel or Browns fans from the get-go.

The Bengals on the very first drive would march up the field and Jeremy Hill would cap it off and run in for a 2-yard touchdown. It was a 7:07 minute drive. Bengals strike first 7-0

In comes Johnny Manziel, his first series as a starter went for a three and out. The Bengals would add to their lead on the following possession on a 44-yard field goal by Mike Nugent. Bengals would lead 10-0.

Much like the first drive, Manziel and the Browns would get their second three-and-out. Just like head coach Mike Pettine would say will happen, players who sack Manziel will throw up the “Money sign”. That happened in the first quarter when Wallace Gilberry would sack Manziel.

In the second quarter Bengals running back Jeremy Hill would add to his already monster game by adding his second touchdown of the game on a mean stiff-arm from 16-yards out. Bengals pouring it on with a 17-0 lead.

Haden who has held A.J Green to minimal yards on his catches left the field in the second quarter and headed into the locker room with a shoulder injury.
