Season three of “House of Cards” will be released later this month and all 62 episodes of “Breaking Bad” are instantly available on Netflix. But a recent health study could have you rethinking your next Netflix marathon.

The new study by the University of Texas at Austin suggests binge-watching could be a sign of depression. Researchers questioned 316 people between the ages of 18 and 29 about their TV habits and their emotions.

“Our findings in our research show that those who feel more depressed tend to watch more programs,” Yoon Hi Sung, a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin, told NPR.
