CLEVELAND — Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson is at the top of the Cleveland Browns’ list for the head coach position after a five-hour interview Sunday afternoon.

Multiple reports are saying the Browns are ready to make him an aggressive, substantial offer to become the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

According to WKYC’s Jim Donovan, Jackson would have the ability to make personnel decisions, including selecting the starting quarterback for the Browns.

The Browns are competing against the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants, both team’s are very interested in obtaining Jackson.

The former Oakland Raiders head coach during the 2011 season, where he led the team to an 8-8 record, Jackson has found a rebirth in Cincinnati, guiding an offense that gained 5,728 yards, scored 50 touchdowns and had a pair of Pro Bowl players, wide receiver A.J. Green and tight end Tyler Eifert this past year.
