The National Urban League will take a place in Baltimore August 3-6th and more than ever, league President Marc Morial is hopeful for the future despite the racial tension around the country. He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about bringing the annual event to Baltimore and if the Presidential candidates will make an appearance.

“We’re excited! On the sixth we’ve got family and community day, we’ll have employers looking to hire people. We’re doing a back to school zone with Mayor Blake and Kevin Liles. We’re doing a lot of activities for families,” Morial said. “We’ve extended the invitation to the Presidential candidates so I’m hopeful they’ll show up.”
