Today at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, hundreds of protesters gathered Sunday at a nearby McDonald’s restaurant and planned to march toward the airport. No word on if any travelers have been impacted by the ban.
People held signs showing solidarity with immigrants, and chanted “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here.”
The protest was largely sparked by activists online. One Facebook group, Palestine Solidarity Group – Columbus, Ohio, rallied the community through an event called “Emergency Protest against Trump’s ban on Muslims coming to the U.S.”
