The soul singer and father of Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. dies allegedly to a possible overdose.

Sad news in music and Hollywood as lead singer 70s soul group The Main Ingredient Cuba Gooding Sr. has passed away Thursday at the age of 72-years-old.
TMZ reports the singer was found unresponsive in his Jaguar Woodland Hills, CA. Police found an empty liquor bottle in his vehicle.
Gooding Sr. and The Main Ingredient was famous for their hit single “Everybody Plays A Fool.” We send our condolence to the Gooding family.
