The Nickelodeon stars talk about how gossip and rumors almost destroyed their tight friendship.

Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell were a dominate duo back in the 1990’s. With starring roles in “All That” and blockbuster hit “Good Burger,” these two look like they would continue to dominate comedy together for a long time.

However, it didn’t really play out like that, as Thompson would later go on to a role on SNL and we haven’t heard or seen much of Thompson. In a recent interview after the late 90s the two didn’t really see much of each other either.

In 2012, Thompson told TMZ that his once best friend, “does not want to be seen with me in any form of media, or even have my name mentioned around him.”

Many gossip sites recited that the two had a falling out, which made both parties believe it as well. Finally, Thompson was the one to pick up a phone and call his best friend.

“It was immediate, like I had seen him yesterday or something like that,” Thompson said. “He had gone through his own tribulations or whatever and he was on the other side of that finally.”

This conversation resulted in the two to be able to recreate a “Good Burger” skit on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallen.” Since then, the two have been keeping in touch and helping each other with past situations.
