Charlie Rose has been dropped by PBS and CBS after 8 women made allegations that Rose sexually harassed them. Rose is 1 of 17 high profile men accused of sexual harassment in the last month stemming from allegations against Harvey Weinstein. One of Rose’s accusers is his former assistant saying he used to appear nude in front of her and make lewd phone calls to her. She told one of her colleagues who brushed it off as “Charlie being Charlie”. Rose had this to say:
“In my 45 years in journalism, I have prided myself on being an advocate for the careers of the women with whom I have worked. Nevertheless, in the past few days, claims have been made about my behavior toward some former female colleagues.”
