Flu Season is in full effect and running rampant! Make sure you build up your immune system because lots of people are getting sick. The Center for Disease Control says that 46 states have immense flu activity, it was only 12 states this time last year. To date, 41,000 cases have been confirmed nationwide. The Ohio Department of Health has reported that there were over 900 Flu related hospitalizations during the last week of 2017 alone and 122 of those were in Central Ohio.

Reports say that the flu vaccine was not as effective this year but the flu can be deadly for those with underlying health conditions so some protection is better than none.
