Do you drink tap water? If so, you could be drinking tap water with radioactive chemicals in it. According to Environmental Working Group, more than 170 million Americans are exposed to Radium in their drinking water. Radium is not good for human consumption and is a carcinogen that is know to increase the risk of cancer. EWG collected water samples from around the nation for 5 years, 2010 to 2015. Sadly, the results show that radium was found in all 50 states, 27 of those states exceeded federal legal limits.Texas  is the state with the most widespread water contamination.
