Sears Shooting Stars CompetitionTyrone Curtis “Muggsy” Bogues was born in Baltimore, Maryland, January 9, 1965. He is a retired American professional basketball player and current head coach of the United Faith Christian Academy boys’ basketball team. Muggsy is the shortest player ever to play in the NBA, at 5 ft 3 in. Muggsy was the point guard for four teams during his 14-season career in the NBA. He is best known for his time with the Charlotte Hornets.
