Ummmmm, I’m not sure about this one buddy.
One of the Cleveland Cavs is stating that if they had former player Kyrie Irving the series would be flipped.
According to The Athletic’s Jason Lloyd said a Cavs veteran said: “no doubt we’d be up 3-0 if Kyrie was here.”
Now, as much as I like the Cavs this is a damn lie. When Kyrie was a Cav and had to face the Warriors in the finals they have NEVER lead the series 3-0 even before Kevin Durant.
The Cavs have been competitive and if it wasn’t for the missed free-throw by George Hill and the historic mistake by J.R. Smith in Game 1 the Cavs may have at least a game under their belts. Even in Game 3 where both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson had horrible games, the Cavs had nothing for Durant.
