Wow! This is an incredible story! An Ohio family’s dog went missing a year ago while being taken for a walk. They searched for days for the animal and could not find it. Now the family is rejoicing because their precious pup has been found, 1000 miles away, in Florida.
According to UPI.com, the Perlman family said their three-year-old Pekinese, Bruno, escaped during a walk on April 13, 2018. They searched for days but no luck.
Bruno’s disappearance remained a mystery until this April 13th, one year to the day since the dog went missing when they received a call from an animal shelter in the Florida Panhandle. Bruno had been brought in by a member of the public who found him wandering alone in the rain. The shelter scanned Bruno’s microchip and contacted the family.
The family doesn’t know how Bruno ended up in Florida or what he’s been doing for the past year, but they’re now planning a road trip to bring him home.
