UP NEXT: Tracy Morgan Gets Legal Win In Lawsuit Against Wal-Mart

Tracy Morgan Nabs Victory In Suit Against Wal-Mart

Comedian Tracy Morgan just landed a major win in his lawsuit surrounding the car accident which left him injured and a friend dead. Wal-Mart truck driver Kevin Roper tried to have Morgan’s suit against the retail chain delayed until his criminal case has ended, claiming he wouldn’t have a fair trial and would be on trial in Morgan’s civil suit. Roper has not been named in Morgan’s lawsuit.

According to  The JasmineBrand, a federal judge has denied his motion, and ruled Morgan’s lawsuit can proceed and also stated a delay in the case would unfairly affect Morgan’s suit. Judge Michael Shipp also ruled Roper didn’t produce evidence Morgan’s suit would ruin his ability to have an impartial trial, where he is being charged with vehicular homicide and assault.  On June 7 Roper was driving a Wal-Mart truck which slammed into Morgan’s limo where he was severely injured and his friend and fellow comic James McNair was killed. Morgan sued Wal-Mart for allowing Roper to drive for 10 hours straight after he was reportedly awake for more than 24 hours.

Porsha Williams Answers Teyana Taylor’s Theft Allegations

The catfight continues with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s  Porsha Williams and singer Teyana Taylor. Earlier in the week, Teyana accused Porsha of jacking the name of her clothing line “Unbothered” after the southern belle posted on Instagram she would be releasing t-shirts with the same name. Teyana called Porsha out for her actions and pointed out she wasn’t clueless to Teyana’s clothing line since Porsha follows her. Porsha addressed the situation The Rickey Smiley Morning Show yesterday where she stated:

I really don’t have a problem with her having a clothing line called unbothered because my t-shirt is just a t-shirt line. It’s not a clothing line. Furthermore, I just wish Tatiana would’ve consulted her legal team because then she would know that she can’t even trademark the word unbothered anyway. I just thought it was a little distasteful to put the comment on Instagram instead of DM’ing me. She could’ve just DM’d me and said, ‘Hey Porsha, I’d rather you not da da da da,’ and I could’ve put ‘pretty on fleek’ or whatever else. It was just blown out of proportion.

Porsha are you being “so nasty and so rude” by constantly calling Teyana something other than her government name? Either way, Teyana clapped right on back at Porsha on Instagram and broke out her proof her LLC had that name.

Later, Porsha fired back with a post of her on on Instagram

Both ladies have deleted their IG’s. Maybe they will work this out offline?
