Huntington Bank plans to add 500 jobs “at all levels and in a variety of disciplines” over the next five years, according to a statement from the Columbus-based bank. Those jobs would be in addition to the 3,300 employees Huntington currently has in Columbus.
The company recently held a press conference to discuss the planned job creation, along with the re-upping of their lease of 200,000 square feet at the downtown Huntington Center office tower. The bank is signing for another 20 years at the location, which is next to their main downtown branch near Broad and High Streets, where they have been for 144 years.
