It’s official folks. NBA star Shannon Brown has confirmed his November 2010 marriage to R&B singer Monica.
The celebrity couple started dating in June of last year. By October they were engaged. Monica, who was previously in a relationship with Rocko, met Shannon on the video to her song “Love All Over Me”
In less than six months, Monica and Shannon Brown secretly married. After the NBA finals, the newlyweds are planning for a public wedding. After going through the emotions, singer Monica has finally gotten married. From Kobe Bryant, to rappers C-Murder and Rocko, she has found love for real this time!
Why waste money on a public wedding? They are already married. Having a reception would be a better solution. Brown must have given Monica what she was looking for, more than Rocko could give her. They found love quick; let’s hope the marriage lasts longer!
“It’s true. I don’t know what else to say about it. That’s my wife and I’m her husband and we gonna continue to make positive things happen,” Brown told Hip-Hop Non Stop TV in the locker room at a recent basketball game.
