The 8th Annual SUMMER614 Festival introduced something new this year and the city was ready.
For the first time ever, Columbus’ go-to summer concert stretched across two full days. Despite a rocky start (thanks to Ohio weather doing what she does), the energy never left the park.
It all went down Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st at the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons. What used to be a one-day celebration turned into a full weekend of live music, good food, and even better vibes. And the people came out for all of it… Rooftops, restaurant patios, packed lawn, you name it.

Day One kicked off with a lineup full of soul, and even though the weather forced a pause mid-show. Once the skies cleared, Eric Roberson hit the stage, followed by a performance from Stokley that made the wait well worth it. A little lightening wasn’t about to stop this show.
By Saturday, the city was locked in. The sun came through, the fits were out, and the Commons filled up super early. Juelz Santana and Lil Scrappy had folks hype from the jump. Scrap even hopped off stage mid-set to turn up with the crowd. Later on, during Ginuwine’s set, the two had a bro-moment on stage. It was basically a family reunion.
From legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff & Silk to the smooth (and beautiful) ladies Tweet and Total, SUMMER614 once again brought a lineup that touched every era and every vibe. And through it all, you could feel the mission behind it: this is for us.
Produced by Bobby Fame of Its Fame Productions, SUMMER614 is more than a concert. It’s a cultural reset, bringing music, community, art, and connection to one space.
