Pastor Jason Nelson sings “Shifting the Atmosphere” with sincerity and conviction, and Gospel music fans are reacting strongly to this new song. After one week on iTunes, “Shifting the Atmosphere” reached number #1 and became the most downloaded song on iTunes. In addition to singing this single, Nelson co-produced it, with Dana T. Sorey.

Pastor Nelson isn’t consumed with the early success of “Shifting the Atmosphere,” he remains focused on the ministry delivered in the lyrics. “Music from a biblical context has always been used to change the dynamics of an atmosphere,” Pastor Nelson explains. “The prophet Elisha asked for a minstrel before the spirit of the Lord came on him to speak a Word of release. ‘Shifting the Atmosphere’ is a song that speaks to the ability of the worshiper to change the dynamic of a situation that he/she may be in by providing a place for God in the midst of it.”

“Shifting the Atmosphere” delivers encouragement and keeps people “worshipping until we see the tangible results that the presence of God brings,” Pastor Nelson adds. “If we can muster up the faith and strength to Worship and Praise God in the battle, God shows up and shows us how sovereign HE really is.” Pastor Nelson concludes, “WE worship to ‘Shift the Atmosphere.’”
