A Massachusetts high school honor roll student is being charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly encouraging her friend to kill himself a year ago.
Michelle Carter of Plainville was involved with back-and-forth text messages to the suicide victim, Conrad Roy III, encouraging him to go through with killing himself just 30 minutes prior to the tragedy.
