According to Fox 28, police are investigating a reported abduction that took place Monday morning at a dry cleaner on the southeast side.

Police said an African-American man was taken at gunpoint from Sterling $1,75 cleaners on Hamilton Road near Eastland Mall around 9:15 a.m.

Investigators said two men came into the establishment where one of them fired a shot into the air. Police said the suspects then handcuffed the victim and put him into a dark-colored Hyundai.

Police said the victim, who’s described as heavy-set weighing around 300 pounds, was accompanied by another person at the dry cleaner who was seen driving a black, four-door Mercedes.
