April the giraffe that has been an internet sensation finally gave birth to a healthy calf. The New York Zoo, where April lives, has been live streaming since February as the world watched and waited for her to give birth.
More than a million people were watching the live footage as April gave birth, according to the Washington Post. The delivery was months in the waiting as zoo keepers were depicting on her having her calf 2 months ago.
