NFL teams took the knee but less do with more people not understanding the purpose of the protest.

It has been another must-see NFL Sunday as football fans tuned in to see if their teams would again take a knee in protest for a second week.

Many teams like the Baltimore Ravens were booed at home for taking a knee during the national anthem.

According to the New York Times, more players this week stood in solidarity than taking a knee during the national anthem. One cause may be due to the backlash from fans who swore to boycott the league if protests kept going.

Even alt-right website Breitbart shared a poll that showed the right wing of politics supporting the president more than they do of the NFL and its protest. To be honest this sector of the country can cause the league to lose money and viewership if protests were to continue.

This leads many people to believe that the president successfully made this about him and not about what Colin Kaepernick is fighting for, justice for black people.

Do you believe the message of the protest is lost?
