Otis Winston, former basketball player and track star at The Ohio State University is the master mind behind the film, “School of Hard Knocks.” He is now known as an actor, producer and director. If he looks familiar, you may have seen him on the big and small screen. He has been featured in BET’s The Game and movies such as Oz the Great and Powerful and Think Like a Man 2.
School of Hard Knocks was filmed in Columbus and get this, he used all local talent. Gone are the days when people can say, “there’s nothing going on in Columbus.” It case you didn’t know, Columbus has some of the best talent and this film has given some of them a platform to shine.
